The Year of the Gold Tiger – February 4th, 2010 to February 4th, 2011 Conventional Chinese calendars mark the Year of the Tiger starting on February 14th, 2010, Valentine's Day. However for the feng shui calendar, the gold (or metal) Tiger starts earlier on February 4th and continues until February 4th, 2011. The climate forecast is cooler and dryer. Accordingly, spring will be colder, leaves will wither and fall in summer and autumn will be dry. There will be an increase in respiratory problems, hepatobiliary diseases and ailments of the reproductive system.
The economic power will lie in the east, especially eastern Asia. In China, Shanghai, Shandong and the coastal areas of Jiangsu and Zhejiang will prosper. There will be many good opportunities here, especially in real estate. The European economy will revitalize. There are also many opportunities that will arise due to the restored market. Southwestern regions will suffer natural calamities and epidemics. This includes south India and southwest China. Real estate will be prosperous, especially in China. There will be growth in the middle and northwestern regions of China. North and South Korea will have increasing conflicts. Japan may suffer from an epidemic.
The U.S. economy will improve at the beginning of the year, but it will decline again by early April, and many will suffer in the second half of the year. A new stimulus package will arise in December. Los Angeles, a southwest region, may experience a riot. A famous officer will be exposed for a personal economic entanglement. The south may also undergo more earthquakes.
The countermeasure to the pitfalls forecast for 2010 is to keep moving. The wise move ingeniously and timely. They seize opportunities. Moving creates change, and change creates openings. Don't be swayed by gain or loss. Give more to gain more. Mothers should be watchful over the health of your third son.
For good health, go to sleep early and don't overwork. Add the following ingredients to your diet: Goji berry, chrysanthemum, aloe, kiwi fruit, mung beans and red beans. Avoid too much roast meat and greasy food.
Pay special attention to every room or door in your home that faces southwest or northeast. Avoid opening doors facing either direction. If your front door faces southwest of northeast, consult a feng shui expert to dissolve the potential problem. The homes with front doors that face northwest or west have better luck. Open the east gate to bring wealth. Use this door frequently and luck will follow, but don't set up barriers to the north.
The mascots of 2010 are the horse, dog and pig. Use monkey and snake ornaments carefully. It would be better to wrap monkey and snake ornaments in red cloth and store them away until next year.
